More About Me

I’m a student journalist with a strong passion for sports media and content creation. Both behind the mic and the lens. With hands-on experience in journalism, podcast production, photography, and live sports coverage, I bring creativity and adaptability to everthing that I work on.

Currently, I’m studying Journalism at the University of Sheffield. Last year I achieved a First-Class Honour (74%). My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in media ethics, radio and article writing.

Sport has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve played football from a young age and remain just as passionate about the game. I was born a West Ham fan and although it may be hard at times I will always remain a proud hammer. My interest in sport goes far beyond the pitch: I’m also very passionate about boxing making sure that I always keeping up with up and coming fights and all the other crazy stuff that goes on in the world of boxing. I also make sure to keep up with the F1.

I knew coming into university that it was essential for me to get my hands on as much practical expereince as I could. As a result I dived head first into the Univeristy student paper, Forge. During my time with Forge Sport, I I have served as a Sports Correspondent, providing pre-match, half-time, and full-time roundups, conducting interviews with players and managers, whilst also being part of a live presenting team for the annual Boxing Varsity. My willingness to get involved with forge has aided my ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy, clarity, and audience engagement are key.

Following my A-levels I took the opportunity to take a brief break from education. During my gap year in the winter of 2023–24, I headed out to Japan not only to learn how to be, but eventually become a NZSI accredited ski instructor. During my time with Evergreen Outdoor Center I was able to hone my communication, patience, and ability to connect with people from different backgrounds all while working in a completely new environment. I had some of the best times of my life on the season and throughout the process truly fell in love with both skiing and pushing my own boundaries.

In addition to my work and studies, I’ve fortunately had the opportunity to travel extensively.Spending time in Southeast Asia and more recently Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. These experiences have given me a deeper appreciation for different cultures, further pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life.

Whether it’s creating compelling audio, producing visual stories, or reporting live from the sidelines, I’m constantly looking for new ways to grow within the everchanging world of media driven by genuine passion for both sports and story telling.
